Kings’ Seat

This sculpture was unnamed. The artist Richard Gibson called it Kings’ Seat. Richard was also the artist for Earthern Sculptures, Regeneration, Gateway and Regeneration-Acorn.

The Kings’ Seat was once located near the river to the McCain Foods factory on the way to Whittlesey. Unfortunately, the sculpture was vandalised and destroyed, and it is no longer present. Like the Connect Park Mosaic sculpture, it is hoped that many people will remember it from the information on this page and those who haven’t yet seen it will be aware of its former presence.
