Message of Peace

Message of Peace by Tolleck Winner, who also created the sculpture ‘People‘ in Thorpe Meadow Sculpture Partk. Message of Peace has been in storage since its purchase and has never been installed. The Message of Peace was constructed in 2009 and transported to Peterborough, however it was never erected. Only twelve sculptures were taken as shown in the image at the time of delivery in 2009. There are a total of twenty-five pieces. All of them all in possession of Peterborough City Council. The artist expressed his concern that the artwork has been in storage for so long and that no installation plans have been developed. Hopefully, the sculpture will be unveiled for public viewing at some point.

In the image opposite, the artist demonstrates how the sculptures should be installed. The overall dimension is 2m x 10m x 10m. Twenty-five individual sculptures arranged in a square.
